I don’t even remember where or how I heard it, but I’m reminded of the ancient Greek aphorism, “Know thyself,” written by Plato, which is inscribed in the pronaos of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.
In the beginning, I wasn’t sure exactly what it meant to me. I only knew it was important to me.
But through the years, this quote would appear, again and again, taking me on many journeys into myself on many different levels.
The first part of the journey was the outer layer of my personality. Then, it moved into the depths of my mind, and finally, it took me into the depths of my spiritual self.
I know that this journey is a continual one that will be never-ending – as it is with everyone.
There are many areas and depths of yourself to explore!
That being said, I invite you to start this journey for yourself. You can begin by journaling.
Start by asking yourself those sometimes-difficult questions concerning why you go through that same pattern over and over again. Then, you can dive into what must happen within yourself to change those non-beneficial patterns.
If you have already started your journey, then you can expand it by continuing to excavate deeper within yourself.
In any case, I would love to assist you in this deepening process.
Below you will find a meditation that can help you to journey to those inner realms of self-discovery and find your own authentic truth, while letting go of that which no longer serves you.
You will find that recording what happens during this meditation in your journal will give you a greater understanding of yourself and your progress.
This guided meditation can take you to deeper and deeper levels with each listen. It is designed specifically to do this for you.
I hope you enjoy your journey, and if I can help you in any way, please reach out and book an appointment.
Many Blessings,
Rose Marie Swanson
