It is just past lunchtime today as I settle in to write to you.

Yes, that means there was no morning tea today.

My mornings are sad and often filled with tears right now.

I had to have my beloved fur baby put to sleep. She was going on 17 years old.

We had a very good life together. I find myself looking for her throughout the day, as if I’ve forgotten that she’s not here anymore.

Her passing was sweet as she’s now moved out of an old, tired body and back into being pain-free and like a puppy again.

But it feels more like it’s bittersweet, as I am happy for her and sad for myself.

In the meantime, I am cat sitting for one of my sons, and kitty does fill some of the space in the house, but not in my heart.

It’s just not the same without Peaches around, and I’m sure it will be another adjustment two weeks from now when kitty leaves.

In any case, our focus for the day is love.

Love is such an interesting word, as it carries so many different meanings, and there are many different levels and types of love.

For example, one loves a partner different than a child, friend, or pet.

But no matter what type of love you are feeling, love is the key to unlocking many doors, physically, spiritually, and energetically.

That being said, please remember that your inside world reflects into your outside world. It’s easy to project what you’re feeling inside onto the world around you and its inhabitants, so please be mindful of this.

And don’t ever forget that the purer your love is, the less room you have for anything else, and the easier it will be to love a life filled with joy, ease, and grace.
