Stop Blaming Yourself and Start Asking for Grace

Stop Blaming Yourself and Start Asking for Grace

As I sit here and pen this article, I’m realizing that this has been quite an interesting morning for me.

I am unable to drink my morning tea, as my mind is full of questions, and these questions are so jumbled up that there seems to be no rhyme nor reason to them.

It’s as if my mind has tilted to one side and thoughts are sliding around everywhere.

Have you ever felt that way?

When I get stuck in this state of mind, it’s all too easy to get caught up in the messiness of the confusion, and it seems like there is simply no escaping it.

Often, this is caused by a tendency to blame myself, even for things that have nothing to do with me, and this can end up with me spinning into a spiral of despair and sorrow.

With that in mind, I wanted to offer some advice to anyone else who’s been dealing with this sort of thing, as well.

So, if you’re tired of blaming yourself, or just wondering how to stop blaming yourself for everything, then I hope you take the time to read this article.

Because I’d like to give you some guidance that will hopefully offer some relief from any suffering or self-loathing these feelings have caused.

Why You Should Stop Blaming Yourself

Why You Should Stop Blaming Yourself

If you ever feel the way I described above, a good question to ask is: What are the dynamics that took place to open the door to this confusion?

When you ask this question, stand back, and really think about it, it’s easy to see that typically, all of this is created by misplaced responsibility!

What do I mean by that?

Below, I’ve offered a few examples of things that can create this kind of feeling:

  1. Your friend never answers your text messages.
  2. Your college application was rejected.
  3. You end up triggering people in your life no matter how hard you try not to.
  4. Someone close to you seems to always point out what they think is wrong with you.

Truth be told, this list can indeed go on, and on, and on, but these few examples should give you an idea of what I’m talking about.

In any case, in these kinds of situations, our human response is to immediately blame ourselves.

We had to have done something wrong to have caused this, right?

I know it’s easy to feel that way, but in my experience, no matter how strongly we believe this to be true, often we’re completely incorrect.

When I consulted the Masters of the Akashic Records on the feelings I’ve been having, they showed me a reflection on the surface of a lake.

That being said, are you only looking at the glare that hurts your eyes? Or have you taken the time and effort to look deeper?

How to Stop Blaming Yourself for Everything

How to Stop Blaming Yourself for Everything

If the sort of feeling I’m describing continues to bother you, first, try taking a deep breath, step back from whatever is happening, and take on the role of observer.

For this to work, you’ll have to set aside your hurt emotions, stop looking at only the glare, and try to see what lies beyond, like:

  1. Perhaps the friend who doesn’t answer your texts is going through a difficult time in their life and doesn’t have the energy to respond to you.
  2. Maybe the reason your application got rejected was that, through no fault of your own, the school you applied to thought you wouldn’t be a good fit.
  3. Perhaps you trigger these people in order to help them grow, and that is part of your purpose in this life.
  4. Maybe your friend is so blinded by all of her own self-judgment that she feels she can’t function without projecting onto others as a means of self-protection.

All things considered, it’s important to understand that even if these explanations are absolutely true, they may only reflect one layer of what is really going on.

When you understand the many depths of your life, and the lives of those around you, it can become much easier to let go of your pain and woundedness and step into a higher level of allowance.

With that in mind, if the kinds of feelings I described above are bothering you, try to allow yourself to withdraw for a period of time from all the messiness. Be still and allow your physical being to be as it is and express itself in privacy.

And after all of that, if you’re still feeling low, then you need to be willing to ask for help. Divinity and all that is held there await you, so extend your hand and ask Divinity for the help you need.

You can reach out to Beings of Light, Angels, Ascended Masters, and many, many more through the Akashic Records.

But if that’s beyond what you’re ready or able to do, it’s okay, because there is something you can use that’s readily available to you, and that’s grace.

Grace is the freely given unconditional love of the Creator, and it’s always present and available to everyone, but you must ask for it first.

All you have to do is call grace to you, ask for the specific help you need, and be open to receiving it.  And when you allow grace into your life, it creates a directional change in the energies around you, and this is what will give you relief.

When I do this, I feel waves of grace flowing through me, which are very gentle but also quite powerful. Some people describe it as feeling hot, cold, or tingly, while others claim to feel nothing, but there is always a change that takes place.

This change creates light within your cells, and where there is light, darkness cannot reside!

Once you’ve gone through this process, peace will then have room to come into you, and you’ll be much more at ease in your life.

And the best part is you can continue to repeat this process until you reach a place of love and expansion within yourself.

At any rate, my purpose in this lifetime is to assist others in healing their pain, and to that end, I am including a very powerful guided meditation that I hope you’ll enjoy.

You can listen to this guided meditation as often as you like, and it will help you in calling on grace and divine unconditional love to cleanse you.

And if there is anything I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am here for you all.
